For the current health problem of evaluating UL motor function, we developed a Gamified m Health System (Mo Ev Game), a novel i Pad-based tool consisting of games to assess and monitor UL motor function remotely without additional sensors or equipment.

The i Pads were already in single-app mode, also known as kiosk mode, preventing the trainee from accessing any other part of the i Pad. Placing an i Pad in a single-app mode was a task performed when the apps were installed or updated with a newer version.

Use of Mobile Apps for Visual Acuity Assessment: Systematic Review and Meta-analysis
The literature search used the following terms, as well as their different combinations, as the search keywords: smartphone, i Phone, i Pad, phone, tablet, mobile devices, visual acuity, VA, eye screening, app, application, Snellen chart, Tumbling E chart, Early Treatment Diabetic Retinopathy Study chart, and ETDRS chart (Multimedia Appendix 1).
We applied several inclusion criteria when identifying relevant studies for this research.

In addition, each ALC received an i Pad Mini and i Pad Pro. The i Pad Pro, with a 12.9-inch retina screen, was provided for ease of residents’ viewing. The i Pad Mini was intended for staff training and familiarity and was not intended for use with residents.
